We need volunteers to be room host, runners and lots more from March 24-28,2008 at various times. Individual Student Volunteer Information
Students who volunteer at least 3
hours will receive a free SRW T-shirt. Volunteer positions include
room hosts, runners, greeters, judge's room attendants, technical
support, registration attendants, set-up crew, and break-down crew.
Any student can participate! Recognized Student Organization Opportunities: The Student
Research Week 2008 Planning Committee needs YOUR organization’s help
to make SRW 2008 a success. In order to help you help us, we have
created a competition to determine the recognized student
organization with the largest involvement. The organization that has
the most volunteer hours to SRW will receive a $500 award,
and a place of honor on the SRW Cassie Rutherford Volunteer
Organization Plaque. We especially encourage those organizations
that require volunteer time or community service to get their
members involved: this is a great way to serve the Aggie Community.

We need organizations to have members volunteer to serve as room
hosts, runners, greeters, floor monitors and lots more from March

T-shirt.
Rules for Organization Competition entry:
1.
Only registered and recognized student organizations are eligible to
participate in the competition.
3.
Students may represent only ONE student organization
throughout SRW; each organization will be asked to submit a
membership roster and indicate which members will be participating
with coordinating times.
4.
Student organization members must wear an official organization
T-shirt to identify themselves as members of their organization when
volunteering.
5.
Each organization that participates will be recognized at the
closing ceremonies on Friday, March 28, 2008. * Points are earned for number of volunteers (1
point for each general volunteer hour), and number of hours served
as volunteers. Each point total will be calculated against the
percentage of members from each organization that participate (i.e.,
the higher the percentage of your total membership that
participates, the more your points are worth). 2006 SRW Cassie Rutherford Volunteer Award Winners: The Aggie Reps (Pictured below: 2006 RPTS Aggie Reps Officers and SRW 2006 Director, Rebecca White)
