All students who participate in the SRW 2008 Research Competition will receive an SRW 2008 T-shirt. The student with the top score in each session will be designated the Session Winner and will receive a personalized plaque. In addition, the students whose presentations were ranked in the top 3 by the judges in each session will compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes based on their taxonomy grouping. Ribbon designations will be awarded based on judges scores and evaluations of the criteria defined below. Taxonomy Level Competition:

Special Awards Melbern G. Glasscock Humanities Award A first place prize of $100 and a second place prize of $50 will be awarded to the top Humanities oral and poster presentations in the undergraduate and graduate competitions.
Interdisciplinary Research Ribbon Recognition A designation recognizing research with outcomes that make significant academic or practical contributions in more than one field of study. |

Student Group Award The student group with the most volunteer points will receive $500 for its members who volunteer and recognition on the Volunteer Award Plaque. |

Research Report Card Program Prizes All students who participate in the Research Report Card Program will be entered into a drawing every time they reach a new "GPA" level". All students who earn a 4.0 will be entered in a drawing for an iPod Nano!
