Everyone can participate in SRW 2008!

The SRW 2008 Planning Committee encourages all students to participate in SRW (the chance to win prizes!) by attending events at Student Research Week. You can register online or during the week at the opening reception (Monday, March 24, 2008 - 4-7p.m. MSC 201) or any time (8a.m. – 5 p.m.) at the registration desk in Rudder Tower on Tuesday, March 25th through Thursday, March 27th. Each time you participate by attending events (oral sessions, opening/closing ceremonies), visiting research resource tables, attend a lunch panel discussion, or participating in the poster scavenger hunt, you receive a stamp. Students are eligible for prizes at the highest level attained.

0.25- 1.0 - SRW T-shirt

1.25-2.0 - SRW Mug

2.25-3.0 - $15 Gift Card

3.25-*4.0 - $25 Gift Card

*All participants receiving a 4.0 will be entered into a drawing for an iPod Nano.

Research Report Card Points
Opening Reception- 0.25
Opening Ceremonies - 0.25
Oral Presentations - 0.5 each (you must attend the entire session)
Resource Table - 0.25 each w/ max of 5 tables
Poster Scavenger Hunt - 0.25
Lunch Panels - 0.25 each w/ max of 2 panels
Volunteer- 0.25 for every 3 hrs worked (max of 6 hrs)
Sigma Xi Keynote Talk (Wed. afternoon)- 0.5
